Easiests ways to make nice banners with images?

Ok, so I'm not any kind of Photoshop or graphic design guru. But I would like to create some simply banners with text, maybe pictures, to test on some ad campaigns.

These don't have to be high-end, I just want to be able to take any picture I want, insert it, arrange it and the same with text.

Is there a simple program, for Mac, that will let me do this?

    Have you heard of Snacktools? They got a really nice editor that you can use for free to create banners that actually make you look as if you knew Photoshop They also have a premium service but I don't think you need it to crank out banners. Also, their tool is hosted online so it's compatible with Win and Mac.

      Yes Bannersnack rocks and using a combination of that, Jing and paint.net you can crank out all kinds good banners (ugly or pretty) whatever you want in no time. If you want to use their animated flash banners and insert videos in your ads without any water marks you'll have to upgrade to their pro monthly deal but it's pretty reasonable.

      If you want to create quick text ads (like ones you see in the WF) you can just use any word processor like MS Word and just type out your larger font texts in whatever colors you want and then just use Jing to capture it in the right ad dimensions you need and turn it into an image you can upload.

      Many quick and easy ways to do it these days!

    Pixlr is an online graphics editor that works with a MAC I believe, and its free, its easy to use, and if you get stumped just google a youtube video and you can learn to do just about anything with it.

    You need to decide if you want to learn some graphics skills yourself and if not, you are probably best to just outsource the work to someone who knows what they are doing.

    These days though the ugly banners are what work best. They need not be anything more than ugly looking text to work well.

    Paint.NET is free image and photo editing software for PCs that run Windows. you can use this program to create quality images. This software is easy to use when compared with Photoshop.

    Hi I am like you in terms of skill but I produce my own banners easily with Gimp (each one takes say five minutes) and i think they look good.
