Because I set up a lot of businesses as tests (you should as well!) - I'd say I have about 80 websites w/ professional email (name@domain.com) running right now (some making profit, many not!) - so that's a $400 monthly fee just for email! With another 100 ready to be launched when I have the time manage this..

      It's not practical.

      Minimal viable product!

      Any recommendations then?

So why not cut the losers and stick with those that make a profit? Maybe I'm missing something here...

Many will eventually - I just like having them all set up with Google Apps Mail from the start - I then have all mail forwarded to one specific email account. That specific email account then places the email into a secure web panel in its own specific table on a custom script I have - so I have one page showing me if any of my email accounts have anything new.. at a glance.... then if I feel it needs a reply I simply manually login and reply. I haven't explained my set up very well I admit!

On a sidenote I've started using Microsofts service.. it's "okay"... it's a nuisance to set up though, and will take some getting used to. Plus the advertisements are much bigger!

        hi ,
If you like I can provide you Google apps standard version for $2.5 per user per month... In this you will get 10GB space.. and If your space utilization is more than 10GB then I'll escalate that user only to 25GB plan.

If you like to see demo then skype me : kishan.giri

You only need one account. You just create aliases for the other domains.

Well at least your 80 existing installations are OK, be thankful they didn't just pull the plug on the existing users.

I've got about a dozen apps accounts and was also sorry to see the freebie go, but that's Google's decision and there isn't anything we can do about it. But I also think that if you are seriously setting up 100 businesses (is that really just 100 domains or are you actually registering 100 businesses?) then the extra 500 per month would be trivial.

It wouldn't be trivial to me but I only have one business, not 180. I've got over 100 domains but only 1 business, an LLC incorporated in 2005. Can't imagine running as many as you do, unless of course you really mean you have 180 domains. If that's the case why not just redirect them all to the existing Google Apps accounts that you already have?

I still have access to set up free accounts (as noted in my sig). They are limited to one user, but you can still set up multiple email aliases.

If anyone wants one set up, PM me...I'll do a couple free of charge.
