Stock Market Related Web Site Question

I'm thinking about a stock market related web site. But I have a question, I know the FTC has a ton of laws and I'm wondering is it legal to build a web site that gives people tools like Barchart.com to find stock trading ideas?

Allot of those daily picks web sites have these long legal disclaimers on there and I don't know if I need to have them on my web site too? If i don't have legal disclaimers on my site can I get in trouble?

Dave you should consult an attorney if you're seeking legal advice...

However as a non-attorney webmaster I would tell you that you should definitely have FTC-compliant disclaimers on your stock market website to avoid any issues in the future.

    Dear Dave,

Really a good question. This is what I have done in the UK for couple of my customers.
    1) Depending on the services provided on the website asked them to make a draft of their services + Downloadable goods+ coding for robots and others.
    2) Next thing with all this as a draft asked my clients to go and see a lawyer to make a complete disclaimer which matches with gov guidelines.
    3) Then deploy that to you website.

    Kind regards,
    Swrajit
