Question about Packaging Videos

I recently received a video product and the videos were packaged into a software / .exe file.

When you click on the icon a window comes up that lists the videos on the left and you view the videos on the right.

Does anyone know what kind of program can be used to package your videos like that?

    Chuck,

Be careful with the executable file. Scan the file first with virus scanner and then you need to run the exe on windows just by clicking. It will execute the file automatically and mighr install some software but such software are dangerous and may contain Trojans.

Why not just ask the people whose product it was?

As the person above mentioned though, I wouldn't recommend using a software like that. It's going to be better for people to just download a zip file with your videos inside it.

If you're planning on distributing videos in a .exe format, you're probably going to want to reconsider.

Yeah, it might be a convenient package, but whenever I download something that I don't expect to be a .exe that turns out to be a .exe (e.g. a video), I get rid of it immediately. You don't want your clients thinking you have wrong intentions.
