Laser Targeted Traffic. Help Needed

Hi Warriors

I am a newbie in affiliate marketing and since I am also busy with my current job I prefer to buy traffic rather than writing articles, blogging etc.

So I need your help. I need to know What are the good sources of buying laser targeted traffic? How about PPC? Is it profitable? I heard google adwords and facebook are charging high for PPC. Which option should I go for?

Many Thanks

Besides PPC you should look into banner ad placements and solo ads.

While there are banner ad networks out there, the best results would come from approaching webmasters whose websites you think your target market visits.

Ask them directly about advertising and work out an insertion order. It is a bit more time consuming but you'll often get a better deal this way, as opposed to using a banner ad network.

As far as solo ads go, you should check out the JV section here on the Warrior Forum to see if anyone is running a list in your niche.

Another good resource to use is the Directory of Ezines it costs $197 to join, but it is well worth it, as one good solo ad placement can make you thousands of dollars.

Even in PPC you will need to invest time in order to get maximum results.

I advice you to hire someone to do the job for you. And you should concentrate on both short term and long term (SEO) traffic traffic prospects.

There are plenty of people out there that will place your ads for you, even write articles, for a small fee (or large depending).
I've found this to be quite effective and has brought me in sales.

I agree with Paul that solo ads are quite good and effective.

"Jack of all trades, master of none."

Traffic streams have to be individually mastered. I suggest
familiarizing yourself with Adwords first before moving out to
other PPC engines. However, recently I've taken a liking to
Bing instead - so you could try that instead.

The technicalities might be similar, so once you master one
PPC engine, you can somewhat have a gentler learning curve
when you move on to another traffic source.

However, the conversions tend to be different, so you should
try and contact the vendor to see if you can either place
your tracking cookie on the sales page, or whether you are
able to create a buffer sales page so that you can customize
    the copy accordingly.

Here's how it will look like:

Traffic ----> Your buffer page -----> Affiliate link (Payment)

You can also look into the options that Paul suggested.

Do note that you really need tracking systems up in place, or
you're throwing money into the darkness. You need a form
of measurement before you are able to control it.

PPC can be very profitable depending on the the conversion and sales funnel. Perhaps instead of trying every paid traffic source you focus on making your conversion rates higher and increase your back end if your PPC campaigns seem to expensive.

Google adwords is expensive, but it works if done with proper planning. Press release written from a professional service provider does carry message about your product / service. SEO is a long term solution. Forums like warrior forum, especially sections like WSO are great sources of targetted traffic.

I would not recommend ppc because its a rip off, search solo ads on warrior forums there is a bunch of good list builders that offer there services for a certian amount of clicks, you need a email broadcasting service in order to get your leads in through getting traffic, than you try to sell to your leads. I never act like a marketer when I send emails to my prospects, I always talk to them as if I knew them for a while, people dont want to be sold to buy they love to buy

As a newbie, I would initially go for solo ads ... these are typically pretty targeted and helps you build some critical mass quite quickly.

      Thereafter, it is up to you ... PPC, Banners, Ezines, Articles, .... all very good and a blend of all is usually the best. Lots of information available on all of these ... and it really is up to you;

Well you know about warriorforums, thats a big start, if your looking for solo ads go on the search bar on top of warriorforum and type "solo ads" and there will be a bunch of people that have lists that are selling solo ads. From there it all depends on your budget.

You can get some of the most targeted and best traffic on the internet by using FB PPC.

You can narrow it be age, gender, education, interests, and where they live.

You can know exactly what traffic you are getting and if you can find the best demogrpahics for your product. You can sell the crap out of it.

Another great thing about it is that it is really cheap.

Though you could buy traffic from or run such "targeted" PPC campaign, advertising, etc with your money. You'll end at suck if you don;t have such valuable stuff on your site

      Hi Denysapu,

Couldn´t help but notice in your signature about your targeted traffic!

Is this traffic Google Adsense safe? I visited your site and it seems to indicate that it is, but wanted to hear it from you direct.

      Thanks.

PPC is good. An alternate option is Bing Ads, look into it.

Some of the best converting traffic that you can get is from free marketing. Article marketing, video marketing, and blogging are my favorites.

it depends what niche you are in

if it's in the IM niche then solo ads are a great way to generate super fast targeted traffic

ppc is also good but not quite as quick and simple as solo ads in my opinion

before you go out there and start buying traffic you should make sure your offers convert well and you have your sales funnel set up otherwise you will end up losing your shirt when buying traffic

Sounds like you're getting ready to make the #1 mistake people make when they get into internet marketing.

They don't see it as a business and just throw money at this and that... You'll eventually learn from your mistakes but it can be costly. I burned a few hundred I didn't have jumping in and out of CPA marketing.

You should slow down, educate yourself...

Maybe even consider investing in a mentor who has track record for what you want to go into.

7search, POF and Traffic Vance will supply you iwith cheap and targeted traffic. However, you will need Prosper202 to track the sources of traffic and know which keywords generate sales and which ones are pure crap.

Well lets just apply a little tiny bit of common sense here. If there's lots of adverts on Google and you know the prices are high, doesn't that kind of indicate something to you?

I recommend Media Buying on your niche to get targeted traffic, its well worth to try!

You should try all options, paid traffic can be hit and miss it takes a budget to nail a positive ROI or a bit luck

If you have the cash - media buys would be my recommendation

    Good luck

I'm a big fan of paid traffic, and yes PPC can be very profitable, you can get laser targeted traffic in a matter of minutes but be carefull, especially if you are new to PPC..
If you don't know how to set up campaigns properly it can be like shooting in the dark and you can lose money big time

PPC is NOT newbie friendly. If you let it, you can even lose everything in it. A good approach for a newbie would be to go for Banner Ads on websites. Just do a simple search on google for your target niche. For example, if I was promoting a product related to "getting six packs" then I would search on google for "how to get six packs" and see from the results if any site(s) is worth advertising on (considering the costs and quality). You can also go to directories to find related blogs and sites, and then contact their webmasters. Directly contacting webmasters is the way to go.

Pay per click can be a good option.

Make sure you research and tweak your ads all of the time.

Also guest blogging can be another very good option to receive targeted traffic.

I agree with most of the comments made so far. However, I would also suggest that you sign up with a link exchange where you can either get links coming to your site or you can exchange links with other sites.

You should do some research first to ensure that you are joining a good link exchange before you join.

There are more ways to get laser targeted traffic.
