Have there been any changes to Clickbank's 2 check rule

My brother used to be active in CB several years ago but decided to move on to other things after a while. However, last month he opened a new CB account and since then has made a few sales to qualify for payment.

I know that you need to get 2 paper checks first before being eligible for direct deposit. But I noticed in his account today that the Direct Deposit option is already active and all the fields for entering banking details are visible.

Is this a glitch of some kind, or have there been any changes to the 2-checks-before-direct-deposit rule?

I have checked up CB's accounting pages and payment help pages but can't find anything new.

My own CB account is years old so I'm not sure if this is something that happened recently. All I remember from my own time is that the Direct Deposit option used to be visible only after 2 checks had been issued.

By the way, my brother's address, phone numbers etc. are different from mine.

Yes this is a recent change. You can now enable direct deposit right away if you live in an enabled country.

When did this happen? Is there a link or something that you could perhaps refer me to that explains this change?

All I can see on CB's own help pages is that you need to have received 2 paper checks befre being eligible for direct deposit. If my brother can enroll for direct deposit right off the bat (he has met the CDR requirements) that would be great.

      Thanks.
