I see this alot while watching youtube video's... Anyone know how to have an arrow pointing to the "description box" in the video?

Also how do you add your website address in the video without it scrolling. Like if I am looking at a video the website address is right in front of my face the whole time the video is playing. Anybody know? thanks...

I think you need a little more sophisticated video editor to do that stuff. I personally like Vegas Movie Studio. I have the Premium edition... it does some powerful stuff, and doesn't have the hefty price tag that some of the other programs have.

Edit=> titles and credits => Title on selected clip

From here you can edit the text and change the animation/placement of the text. You don't have total control over the placement of the text, but if you mess around with it, you can do what you want...

I like the font "Rockwell Extra Bold" as it looks good after being uploaded to Youtube...Many fonts don't.

    Hi KB24:

There are a few tricks you could do that may be advantageous. Please save as so you don't destroy the work you have already done. While in Windows Movie Maker if you go to Tools select Video Effects and Slow 1/2 speed. If you put that over the clip that has the text it will slow it down but you can then repeat on the same clip and slow it even further.

Go around the internet for free use photos and look for arrows, hands pointing up, down, left, and right. Anything that that will help.

Although not a full service editor for many functions WMM does the job!

    Good luck.

    Hey KB,

I'm new to this, but here's two examples of exit credits designed to brand and to get folks to click on the link in the YouTube profile.

The Tweedz.com/Twitter one needs some improvement...Mostly, I compressed it to be too small. However, I like how the DomBom one turned out.

For each, I used a gif animation from www.animationfactory.com , and added a royalty free sound effect to each...Actually, I added two sound efx to the dombom one, a fuse burning and and explosion sound.

I used Win Movie Maker for the text.

    That's it.

Once made, just add them to the end of every movie I upload. I have shorter versions as "intros".
