How do domain buyer/seller sites earn? Do they ask us commissions per sale?

Or the buyer when they buy a domain?

If yes, do they charge big?

Because I think I have one that's worth $10 at least but I don't know what will be left of it if they take their commission from it. Whew.

Oh and also, this means they'll be getting the entire website right? Along with all the files we've uploaded?

Its a really luctrative business, but you dont price the domain for 10$. You find good domains and then either build a website to make it worth more or you sell it off right there. The best thing to do is get a good domain, rank it in google, and then sell it off to the highest bidder on flippa

Uhh... How do you rank it in google exactly?
I mean, the only way I know how to do that is to build a website on it.
Are there any other ways of ranking them in Google without making a website out of it?

No, if there is nothing there then how can Google rank it?

And if you bought a domain for about $7 and sold it for $10, you are going to have to sell a hell of a lot to retire, and that is assuming it sells, contrary to what anyone says sales of domains are not that common, there are far more people buying with a view to selling than there are people actually selling them and making a profit

In my opinion no one would sell a domain for $10 when they purchased $7 as it would be plain stupid. I would rather give the domain authority before sell them $100-$200 on flippa or sedo marketplace or something similar.
