What would you charge to set up sales funnel?

Hi,

I'm looking to find out what marketers charge companies for sales funnel set ups. This would be from scratch. I have to pitch the idea to them, as they don't even have an auto responder at this point. They do have a client list, but have never communicated with them by email and I do not have the list yet to tell you how many customers are on it. Their entire biz has been based on word of mouth and door to door customer service, they have a loyal customer following in a niche market.

    Figure out how many hours it will take you roughly and multiply it by your hourly. Thats what i do.

    It really depends on what "type" of funnel you are setting up. Also consider the type of software you are using. If you plan on importing the emails into an autoresponder, I would use GetResponse.

    As far as charging, it really depends on how much time you are going to spend on it, or if you are going to outsource it and just manage the whole project.

    How long is a piece of string!

    My advice would be to pitch it that you will build the funnel for a lower up-front fee and a commission on sales generated by the funnel, win-win situation.

    1 - You get ongoing revenue and have a vested interest in the funnel succeeding so will continue to be involved after the initial setup.
    2 - The client gets a lower setup fee and your involvement as it grows.
