Hello! Newbie with a question.......

I HAVE BECOME A PINTEREST JUNKIE. I am also looking to make some money on line. So, I am looking to use Pinterest for marketing eBooks, MRR items, and other products via affiliate links (possibly Amazon). I know that you cannot place affiliate links on your pins on Pinterest. You need to either shorten them or cloak them. However, they do allow you to use a website link with your pins.
My question is this: should I have one website for each category: House Décor & Remodeling, Crafts, Travel, Food, Diet & Exercise, Fashion, Beauty, Wedding & Events, Books, Music, Movies & TV, Gardening, and Photography (these are the categories I am going to focus on; they are the most popular), or is it possible to have ONE WEBSITE for everything?
I am a newbie, and I would like to make this as simple as possible. Any feedback on this would be deeply appreciated. Thanks.

One web site is all you need. Why complicate your life in running several web sites?

Does Amazon have a web site for every one of their categories?

Why not simplify your life and focus on driving all your traffic to the same place?

You can always segment viewer interests once they are on your main site.

Why not just set up a WordPress blog and create categories for every niche you want to hit? You should make sure you pick a generic domain name, something that will brand your blog. Then write, post, and profit.

I'm a Pinterest junkie as well! Currently I'm in the process of creating several authority Pinterest accounts that are niche specific. My strategy is to get at least 10k followers on each of these accounts first before I start thinking about promoting products.

I will be getting one domain name for each niche and here's why - I plan on watermarking all of my future pins once I start marketing to my followers. A viral image can make it way past the threshold of Pinterest IMO, and just depending on the link from the image can potentially cost me a lot of other viral traffic. And it would just be easier to watermark top level domains onto the images. Of course this is my opinion only and I have seen watermarks with blogspot URL's work just fine.

I am also only working on 3 accounts/niches at this time so managing them all at once is not a problem at all. I can see that this would be a very time consuming process if you are in 20+ niches, or even 10 for that matter.

So I guess in the end it depends on your preference and marketing style. Whatever you choose, I would definitely suggest keeping your Pinterest accounts niche-specific. Your followers would be far more targeted that way, which means better conversion rates in the end.

What I would do is, create a website like: Zoriteysmoneysecrets(dot)com and instead of creating a website fro every category create a subdomain, that will be easier and will looke more professional, also some clients will check the main site and will make a 2nd purchase.
    All the best.

Generic is fine. It's not about the site but about how you promote it and market your products. I have a couple of general sites that do well with advertising and yet everyone keeps telling me that I should be failing because I'm not in a niche........

I would go with one domain-one account, just as Sherry said, you can target followers.

As soon as you start making money, you'll be able to outsource part of the work, so you'll not going to be confused with all those accounts and domains.

Also, single domain will looks more like spam which raise possibility of fail, and loosing precious time and energy. Don't rush!
