Driving leads from video...

Hey warriors,

I want 2013 to be a big year for us. My main focus will be driving leads using video marketing. The goal is to get 15 opt-ins/day coming in just from this avenue.

I want to entrench myself in as much video marketing information as I can. I want to master it. Live it.

What are your best tips?

What are the best courses you've seen?

What are the best books you've read?

Any other advice?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Brandon

  • Moneyblogger,

If you plan on shooting and editing video yourself, I would suggest investing in some good software to do so. There are some basic programs on the market however you would do well to spend the extra cash and get something good. There will be a learning curve with the more advanced software like Adobe however it would be well worth it. You will be able to produce professional videos.
Here are also some good video marketing tips,

There's a WSO just released today that I reviewed and found very enlightening:

    (not an affiliate link)

also, there is a course by Fearghal Downes available as a WSO that I have been implementing. Hope that is helpful.

    Hey all,

Thanks for all the tips....Just to be clear I'm looking for more about distribution tips etc.

I have a home studio and I feel that creating the actual videos is my strong point.

    Thanks!

If you can create golden informative videos you have already tackled a huge part of the key. This is by far the biggest step. Distribution can be easy with the right tools

I've heard a lot lately that mass distribution is on the way out according to Google.

The idea being that real connections and social signals will be the key.

    Any thoughts?

Your video should act as a squeeze page for your squeeze page. You want them to finish watching your video, navigate to your squeeze page (which is the link in the description) and without hesitation enter their email address because they have been presold by your video.

What I would like to know is why doesn't my several youtube videos that are #1 on youtube get so little traffic.

I keep hearing youtube is the #2 search engine in the world. But the number of visitors to my #1 videos make me think differently.

How are you getting people to your website?

Do you have your website link at the very beginning of your description? Do you have your link in an annotation over the video? Do you have a call to action inside the actual video?

Also your video content matters. If people don't like it they won't visit your website.

        You probably have low-searched keywords.
