Well the first thing I would do is buy a membership on here to the warrior room, then invest in some paper and ink and a few beers, grab all the free advice guides that are in there from some overly-generous members, print them out and sit back with a cold one and learn!

you don't need money to set up business online. if you want to spend it save 69.00 for a wso. (Build a list) with the WSO. if you need help to get start your wso find a WSO JV GROUP and ask for help.

Put the rest of away. Do it again keep building your list keep finding people to work with on WSO's. Start building your online presence invest in a domain and hosting.

Nurture your list.

keep moving forward.

Alternately begin by going the offline route its a way to make more more quickly.

senkcity, I just read your post, great list, many people don't realise what an opportunity IM is. No way could you start an off-line business for so little and even the monthly overheads are nothing compared to most off-line businesses. I have been self employed for 20+ years and had businesses employing 40+ staff which have not offered the same ROI as IM without the headaches and stress. Sure there's a learning curve, but it's nothing compared to off-line.
I for one am prepared to put in the hours for IM as the long term rewards are potentially far more rewarding and worth the effort.

I have or rather had $80 to start off for my IM campaign.
It's a strict budget so I can't join the war room yet until I get it back after spending it.
But you, if you have $150 then you can start off with joining the war room.
I'm really looking forward to that day when I finally become a member to that officially.
But I haven't made any money yet through IM so I guess it's just right for me not to yet ha ha!

$150 is alot of money to get started in this business. You should by a domain, hosting, autoresponder,setup a squeeze page with a free offer, and start driving traffic to the squeeze page by purchasing traffic from various sources such as solo ads , ppc, etc to build your list. Once you have people subscribed start building a relationship with them,then monetize them buy sending affiliate offers to them, or start selling your very own info products.

I did want to mention that aweber and camtasia have free 30-day trials, so you wouldn't have to come up with money for those two expenses for a month. Hopefully you could make the money to pay for them from your efforts during that period.

Ive read some great posts to answer your question. In short, its really a personal question. In general, you need to buy the necessities..a website, hosting, etc. Save a little for some adsense or just do some free backlinking, article marketing, etc.

I use screenr.com if the videos will be less than 5 minutes. It is free and no software to install. Just the way I like it.

screenr.com is better than jing.com because you can download the .mov file or even have it upload to your YouTube account. Love it.

The above -- register a domain, get hosting, and an autoresponder -- are the best advice, bar none. If you're *brand spanking new* and in that "don't even know which end's up" phase, then I recommend you check out Tellman Knudson's "Send Email, Make Money" course. Forty-seven bucks out the door. I can't recall with complete certainty if there were any upsells, but I don't believe there were. In this particular course, Knoodle [sic] delivers insane value. Once you've got that course all you need is a kick in the pants to get you started.

Well some people gives some nice advice when some are just bunch of *****. Why do some people leave negative attitude instead they can just not post comment.

I had $100 when I started and spent it all on PPC promoting clickbank product and made like $300 and invested on making personal website. That was like 2 years ago.

As suggested in other posts in this thread.

If your intent is to eventually get into online marketing I would go with hosting and an autoresponder. for $150 you could pay for a year of hosting and one or a few domain names. I wouldn't worry about the autoresponder until you are ready to go live with a campaign.

As you've probably noticed, most websites used for entry level type online marketing are Wordpress. If you paid for a hosting plan (ex:hostgator), buy a domain name, then install wordpress on the site.

If you're on a tight budget, and will be doing most of the work yourself you can self-train in wordpress while you are learning marketing methods and finding a market you plan on targeting.

Starting an online business is not about the money. In fact there's no much difference between having 0 or $150, although I do realize that to make money you'd need to have some money. But what I think really matters is having a plan, a drive, self-confidence, being ready to accept failures and know it's going to work eventually. I am trying to test how it is to go from zero to hero myself and I am prepared to accept the fact that the way I have chosen to do it may be not too smart, although people seem to like my job so far

Ok, my piece of advice, and nevermind if you have 0 or $150 in you pocket. You don't have to pay for the sign up to the war room to find great people and some golden nuggets on the WF. You want an example? Search for the guy named KENSTER. Now I don't mean his great WSOs but just his threads on this forum:

Atleast the email list that you purchase can use repeated and not only one time , so you can slowly convert them to your client by sending email & newsletter to them .

Learn about Free Traffic Generation first, and save your money for your website/hosting/autoresponder etc. Traffic first! Do a Google search and type in:
Free Traffic Generation. That would be a good place to start.

I would post tons of products from dealextreme.com on fiverr, really bizaar and funny things, then when people buy, i would make the purchase from dealex.. and send it to the buyer off fiverr. Use your $150 to manage the cashflow and payments until you can withdraw from fiverr. Ramp it up, and don't give up. You will get more than $30 a day or more.

That was the easiest money i ever made! But small money. But hey, works.
