Help on .Gov and .Edu domain finding for backlinking

.Gov and .Edu backlinks are much needed backlinks for a site to increase it's search engine ranking and trust. But it is not easy to find niche related .gov and .edu domains where any kind of backlinking opportunity exists. Does anyone of you know a way to find those?

    This is a very widespread misunderstanding, Lena - and it's perpetuated and spread every day by people selling .edu and .gov backlinks.

    The reality is that the domain-extension of the site on which a backlink appears has no bearing, in itself, on the backlink's "linkjuice" value to your site.
