Stripe and Square to accept payments? via Mobiles? what do you think?

Do you use Stripe or square as payment gateways to accept credit cards from your customers ?

square allows payments to be made using your mobile connecting it to your credit card.

has anyone moved towards these, away from the merchant accounts?

as more and more people are using mobiles for paying money.

it might be more convenient

    I use Square - have had no issues. It connects straight to my Business Account

    PayPal also has their own card reader now as well.

    These work great if you do stuff "live" or you are an "offline" marketer who wants to take payment in the field. For us - we started using it so we could go to music festivals and sell goods w/o carrying a ton of cash on us.

    The payments are also itemized so it makes the accounting side of it easier as well.

    Haven't tried stripe though.
