One Brand with two niches or two separate brands?

Hi,

To make this very succinct:

I have created a new system of exercise, and I plan to take it into two niches: 1) The anti-aging niche, and 2) Extreme physique transformation for younger fitness nuts.

These programs will obviously be designed differently, but they both will be the same system of exercise--same principles and methods, just one with emphasis on health/anti-aging, and the other on extreme performance and rapid physique change.

My question is: Should I separate these into two different brands, and produce products under each brand? Or should I put both of these niches under the umbrella of a single brand?

Thoughts on drawbacks and benefits of each are much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

You know, I sort of shyed away from branding altogether.

I will answer your question first then tell you why I have.

Your niches are compatable to a point so I don't think it matters.

Now, a header and graphics take away from a sales page, so I am testing several different plans. Plain Jane seems to work best so far.

You have to do your own testing, I think some things need branding, such as graphics ect.

Generally I would tend to go for the option that gives you the most options and flexibility. By separating the two you can test independently of each other and apply different marketing methods to each as you see fit.

    Thank you guys!

    Any other opinions are welcome.

Does having both products under a unified brand HELP me in any way?
