Default What if your passions are too mainstream?

I'm a proponent of finding a market and giving them what they want.

But in the long term I would like to establish myself in a niche I have a deep passion for.

I'm already starting to do that with internet marketing (just released my first WSO) but I'd like to apply myself in a non-IM niche I'm passionate about.

The problem is, all my passions are mainstream e.g. formula one, computers, football etc.

I know people say "choose a sub-niche" but the problem is that either I'm interested in the broad subject with no particular passion for a sub-niche OR even the sub-niche is already extremely mainstream e.g. Manchester United!

Any tips? I can't be the only one who has had this problem before?

Do you think you can build a membership site for Football lovers or computer lovers? May not be the answer you were looking for, but something to think about.

Hi Product Creator

I have a similar problem. What I have done is create a set of sub niche sites around a main niche. I didn't plan it that way but because of my interests it sort of happened.

Of course I link between the various websites as I see fit and when it is truly relevant. In the last month I have noticed a big increase in traffic and sales. Having gone through Kevin Rileys training I can see that I have implemented some of his ideas almost by accident.

This is a long way round to say.....

Use multiple subniches and make it work to your advantage.

Even if it means that you have to talk about Man Utd. (Royals Fan Here)

The Memoirs Of Edward Rochester - Just imagine if Jane Eyre had been written by Mr Rochester.
My first full length novel now on Kindle and In Print on Createspace. That's what I call a niche!

I would just start a blog on something and add to it, keep adding things you like for content. Atleast this way you will have started and will have some kind of online real estate.
