Network Marketing vs Internet Marketing

Hi everyone,

Just wondering what your thoughts are on these two marketing methods. Do you think its easier to make money in NM or IM?

Are any of you doing both with any success?

Thanks!

Definitley Internet Marketing. Reason being you can scale it up worldwide. Network Marketing you are limited to recruiting in your vicinity, and its not as easy to get people to join your program.

Not true at all! Many network marketing companies are world wide and you can use the internet in many different ways to build your business!

And as far as it not being easy to get people to join your program, that's all up to the individual marketer. What you have said on both counts is completely wrong.

I see a lot of misinformation on this forum about Network Marketing, and I suspect most of that information is from people who don't really know what they're talking about and are just going by what they've heard or have had one bad experience and didn't really work the business.

I find Network Marketing to be a bit daunting, but it seems like if you have what it takes and do it right, you can make the most money with residual income. That said, I think my personality steers more towards the one hiding in the basement hoping someone will buy...LOL… Hopefully I can make a go at IM.

Never thought I would do this….thought it was a waste of time, heck, it’d be easier just to get a part time job!! THIS CHANGED EVERYTHING!!

The problem with most network marketing programs are the barriers to entry and the way the opportunities are presented. Unfortunately most people grossly misrepresent the companies that they are involved in. The barriers to entry in internet marketing are generally much lower, and if done correctly, it's much quicker to realize a profit.

My current project is developing a system that makes network marketing/MLM much simpler, and inexpensive to start, but it's a work in progress that likely won't be ready for another 30 days or so.

      Hey John,

What do you mean by barriers to entry?

I really think people over complicate how simple it is to build an MLM business. I mean look at how many systems are already out there that supposedly makes Network Marketing easier.

I mean how hard and drawn out does it have to be to simply recommend and promote things you like?

I mean really, how hard is it to refer someone to a website? That is pretty much all I do to grow my Network Marketing business.

I can see your point but the problem I have is getting people to even go to my NM site. And even if they do go, they dont buy...so thats what im struggling with now.

You have to give them a reason to visit your website. For me I listen when people are talking and a lot of people talk about how expensive things are etc or how they would like to take the family on vacation if they had the money, I then ask them if they are just venting or really want to do something about it, if they are serious, I give them my sizzle card with my website.

I also use paid advertising such as solo ads to drive traffic to my site.

However if you want to avoid all that and have a team of professionals build an MLM business for you, drop me a private message and I will give you the details.

I do both. IM makes quick money when I need it. NM makes long term residual income for me.

So why not do NM with a IM twist? That combo actually works extremely well.

With the Internet NM is no longer limited to your local area. You can recruit worldwide now. (Within the countries the NM company you choose can legally do business in.)

The NM company I make the most with is actually limited to the US currently.

I think a big issue with NM has been the products and their costs. They usually are not that interesting or useful, are limited, and cost way too much. They NM company that I am a part of eliminates all of this and much of it is done online just like IM, so I can still hide in my basement :-) The company I have stumbled upon is a waking giant that is growing rapidly across the world and will probably revolutionize global commerce in short order. You will probably be hearing a lot about it pretty soon.

If you think about it... they're both the same. I've done many NM programs that required me to talk to friends and strangers... when I became a pro at Internet Marketing and driving traffic to landing pages, I can join pretty much an NM program and make money.

I suggest getting really good at marketing, learning to drive traffic to anything website or program.
