The Browser That is Quicker than Chrome....

Hi Warriors

I change my browser about every 2 years.... The reason for this is as soon as a browser starts getting popular it then gets bogged down with features and in reality all you want to do is browse.

I use to use Firefox and that slowly got slow, then I moved to chrome... but this last week I have been trialling Maxthon Cloud Browser | For All Devices | Free Download

I have to say its pretty damn quick and I like it... wound how long it takes for that to get bogged down but it is very nice :-)

    No thanks, I prefer to keep my data out of any clouds, particularly in the current environment.

    ...lower down, but I guess that would defeat the object of using this browser?

    My advice, in order to overcome this problem (below) -

    ...would be to learn how to configure a browser so that it is doing exactly what you want and not doing anything that you don't want. Rather than testing a new one on some arbitrary timescale, I prefer to continually test existing and new ones in order to evaluate them. Currently testing 'pale moon', which is a cut down version of firefox, my version fully loaded with various blockers which I am also testing/configuring.

    I've been trialing it too. Not quite as good as Chrome and I've switched back, unfortunately.

    I use Chrome for Sync my accounts, so speed isn't the only reason to use a specific browser.

    I heard that IE 10 is fast, anyhow don't gonna use it.

    Anyhow, thanks for the share, didn't know that browser you posted.

    I use chrome on my tablet :-)

      Reason enough in its own right NOT to use it!

      Maxthon is good, for what it is... the days of fast [current websites] browsers, is long gone... however with a few tweaks in windows, chrome config and options you can get a lightening experience on some sites still!

        Just started using Maxthon, and I like it so far.

        Pretty unique feel and layout, and change is good sometimes.

        I have used Google Chrome for the longest time, so I'm eager to see how well this browser does for me.
