Hey just want to share how excited I am as my blog is about to hit the 1 million Alexa mark. This is very exciting for me as I'm a new blogger!

What do you think?

    Install the Alexa toolbar on your own computer and then that probably will not seem like that big of a deal to you. Try it and then you'll probably find out why.

    You got a long way to go, but it is a start Keep hitting yourself with little goals and youll find yourself into even larger success in no time.

    One of the biggest pitfalls I find people do it set their goals way to high that its near impossible to reach and you get burned out before you reach them. Set small goals daily weekly and monthly etc and you'll be well on your way.

    I have never really learnt about Alexa Rank? I always presumed the lower the rank the better?

    This is what the Chrome Add-On portrays it as..........for example this forum is showing as Traffic Rank #155

        Well Done. I should however add word of caution - Alexa rankings can go down as well as up. I remember being at 1.3m, waiting excitedly to go sub 1m. Suddenly they re-ranked me at 1.85m. I'd in fact increased traffic and quality incoming links in the interim period. My site's ranking did improve again slowly however.

        The other issue I have with Alexa is in my view site traffic is everything, and there is little correlation between traffic and how Alexa rank you. I know of a site ranked 99k on Alexa getting 27k hits per month, and another ranked 113k getting over 100k. Go figure!

    Current rank is now 949,764
