Hi All,

Please I need your help.

I need to give a prospective Australian client a quote for a website design.

This individual requires the following:

Some products attract GST (tax) and others not.

Initially she is only going to sell GST-Free products.
Delivery Charges (Shipping) will attract GST at 10%.

So, in the Paypal Shopping Cart I need to have the following items:

- Cost of the Product (excluding the GST @ 10%)
- Delivery Charges
- GST (@ 10%) on Delivery Charges

How do I set this up in Paypal so that the GST is only
calculated on the Delivery Charges in the Shopping Cart?

Your help is very much appreciated.

Thanks.

  • Herschel-W,

It would seem that you may have to include some custom conditional programming based on user location for products on your client’s site. For instance calculations for GST could appear when users from regions where it is required are viewing products.

Perhaps you can find an answer here,

    Hope that helps,

      Thanks very much Shawn.

      I will check it out.

I received a list of 15 regions from this person
      to apply delivery charges.
