Will people pay for $7 special reports over Ebooks?

Will I found a hungry niche and I don't have an ebook just yet, and my materials are not copyrighted I figure I can hold off until I can get some income to get it.

But I figure I can make some decent cash If I just sell a 7 page report and charge like 7 bucks for it!

you don't have to 'get' a copyright. You have it automaticly - it's a right.
that's how it in the US at least.

If your 7 pages report is of value, paying $7 is worth.

When you write your own materials and publish it before others (in case someone has the same hungry niche material) then it is your copyright. I believe you are talking about patent. Patent is for products.
