Amazon Referral Rate - Why am I still at 4%?

This is my first month selling on Amazon and I have a question regarding the referral rate.

This is from my earnings report for Dec 1 - Dec 16th...

Total items shipped: 25
Referral Rate (Increase this to 6.00% by referring 4 more items): 4.00%
Ordered items: 47

As you can see, I've shipped 25 items, but it still says I need 4 more items to get to 6%. On their chart, it shows I get bumped to 6% after selling 7-30 items and 6.5% after 31-110 items.

Based on this, it looks like I'm getting credit for 3 products. When I calculate my percentage based on earnings, it comes to 5.7%. I do have some electronics and gift cards in the mix.

Can anyone please shine some light on this for me. Thanks!

    That sounds like there is some kind of error. Have you contacted Amazon about this issue via the feedback link? They usually reply within 48 hrs.

    It could be that you've set your fee structure to Classic instead of Performance based structure, so it's a flat 4%.

      I'll give it a few days to see what happens. The reports took a long time to post today, so maybe they were having issues. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking something.

      I get credit for all the items, not just the items I linked to, correct?

        Yes, you get credit for all items unless they are on the excluded list of products.

        Have you ensured that the box on the left is ticked called "Combine Reports". I doubt that would cause it, but worth checking.

            There's definitely a glitch in the system. Mine says "Increase your referral rate to 6.00% by referring 1 more items." even though I am above the 7% mark for items shipped.

            On the positive side, the actual commission calculation is correct and is roughly 7% of the revenue figure after allowing for some 4% electronics stuff. So I would recommend you check your earnings figure because it might actually be correct.
