Obviously, I am not the most prolific of writers when it comes to the WF. Most of the time, I am so focussed on what I am doing, that I forget to pop in more often. Hopefully you will find the following information of interest.

Over the past few months, there have been a lot of changes over at YouTube.* A little while ago I was fortunate enough to be able to chat face to face to with a guy from Google and asked him to confirm the answer to a question that has been irritating me for a long time.

How many YouTube Channels can you have?

The answer was: At this stage, as long as you create a new Google account, using different names for each channel, you can have as many as you want, particularly if they are content rich authority channels.*

On the other hand, if everybody starts creating a huge quantity of “set and forget” channels, YouTube is likely to reconsider.

In the same way that we set up content rich authority websites, YouTube/Google, would like you to set up content rich authority YouTube Channels.

Having said that, you need to look at your YouTube channel as another "website", not simply as a means to create back-links to your normal website.* Your videos; transcriptions; description*and so on, are your content.* As with any website, you need to add related videos on a regular basis and to SEO the content correctly.

We have always used our websites to market and promote our products and businesses.* With the enormous growth of YouTube, it now becomes essential to incorporate YouTube video marketing into your arsenal if you want to succeed.*

Whether you are working with off-line business or promoting your own or affiliate products you need to educate yourself on all the ins and outs related to video marketing and video SEO and even video sales letters.

Video SEO has unique characteristics, so relying on traditional website SEO will give you a helpful start, but not the leading edge to results. You will also need to keep up with YouTube’s most recent and ever-changing marketing tools so you can fully leverage beyond the SEO perspective.

You do not have to be an expert videographer, I certainly am not, but there are quite a lot of different ways to create simple but effective videos and that information is widely available on the internet and here in the Warrior Forum.

We all know about the "how to" videos and most of us if not all of us have benefited from them over and over again.* Product advertising videos on the other hand are a whole different ballgame, as are lead generation local marketing videos.

They need to be kept shorter and tighter and punchier. Everyone knows to keep videos below the 5 minute mark whenever possible, but your advertising video needs to be below the one minute mark - preferably 30 to 45 seconds.

Go and watch TV ads - have a notebook and pen handy and make notes about what you liked or didn't like.* Did the video grab your attention within the first 4 seconds? Could you remember which product was being advertised?*

I have seen some really great advertising videos, BUT there was so much focus on making the video look beautiful that the product got lost in the mix.

In the same way that we all need to have a swipe file related to sales letters, you need to create a swipe file full of notes and links related to video marketing.

I do hope this information will be helpful to you and that you will enjoy video marketing as much as I do.
