Maybe you have some sites with Hostgator and some with another provider etc.

Does anyone currently host sites with different providers?

If so, how do you keep track / manage all the information between them?

What information do you keep track of?

I have multiple sites (w/multiple domain names pointing to them) with 4 different providers as I don't want all my eggs in one basket should a router go down, etc.

I keep a simple .csv file w/domain name, dns servers, etc. and wrote a php script that can display the data including link to the site on a simple web page.

There are any number of scripts that can crawl a page and report dead links - makes it simple to see if one of the sites is down.

For passwords - I use a common string of characters on all my sites and just add something different for each provider.

I have several sites on 3 service providers.

I write everything down on the back page of my TODO book. Along with other usernames, passwords, account details etc.

Having more than 1 provider means that if I am hacked, only a third of my business income gets disrupted.

There used to be a piece of software called
    "Domain Dashboard" which did this...

Looks like it's about to be relaunched.

I use a note pad to keep track when online and then store it in a filing cabinet when I'm not using my machine.
