How to get Links to work in PDF

I just want to share how to get links that work in MS Word to work in a PDF.

This was driving me crazy for a little bit and I couldn't find out how.

The Solution:
Simple use Adobe. There is a free download on their website.

Make sure when saving it in Word you chose Adobe PDF, not Word's save as PDF.

I am not sure this guarantees your links will work in all PDF viewers. From what I have seen, this can viewer dependent, that is, in some PDF viewers links may not work.

    But thanks for sharing, anyway.

I do not work with word, but when I export my PDFs from InDesign I have the option to make links clickable and those links work in every viewer.

I do not see a reason why would links work in one viewer and not in the other.
Links in PDFs are common thing and they should work regardless of the viewer.

Ahhh, that would explain why it wasn't working for me. I had to use openoffice to do it. Thanks for that answer.
