Rep Management Question : Images

Hey guys

Doing some recon on ORM ( Online Reputation Management) and my client needs a little work done.

Ive got the basics down -
Press Release
Social Media ( Twitter,FB,Pinterest, Google +)

I even tried creating a 2nd facebook and 2nd twitter so they pop up on first page and move down the news sites.

My question is : How Do I remove the IMAGES ( Mugshot) in the Google Image Search.

His name doesnt have alot of comp - mainly mugshot and some other negative NEWS articles.

So I was thinking of creating say some type of public instagram account, maybe like Pinterest - so when they hit images they see like the pictures (optimized) from the Pinterest or Facebook(Pix of whatever- Cars or Sports Related - whatever! lol instead of the Mugshots.

What are some other good tactics to get those negative pics down a few pages? OR atleast RANK some pictures ABOVE them?

Any advice is greatful! Thanks

You can remove images by contacting the mug shot web site. They charge a fee but it is possible.

Aside form that: You can simply out-create it. Just upload many images with your guy and label them with the name.

The images do not have to be all head shots. It could even be a picture of his house or his dog etc. Just make sure to name the picture properly.

You can try with Image Bookmarking.

  • You may try and contact the uploader of the mugshot to take it down. Normally it would cost you some bucks, but who knows?

If you took the photo then DMCA is all you need.

If the photo was taken in a public place (e.g. your client is a celebrity) then you're on more tricky ground. Money talks though.

Yea the Mugshot sites charge $399 for EACH picture - and from what ive read after a few weeks they put the pix back up on another site.

My question is : if the keyword(clients name) has barely any comp - cant I just upload images to photobucket, flickerr, linkedin,fb,twitter with his name as the img alt and description so those authority sites will bump the results down off the 1st page?

Any other tactics or info would be helpful thanks guys!
