Default PayPal Maintenance Notice

I just checked over at PayPal (April 8, 8:50 AM EDT) and saw this notice:

We will be performing maintenance on the PayPal site from 9:00 PM PDT to 2:00 AM PDT. The site may be unavailable during that time. Thank you for your patience.

Geez, glad I moved all my money over to my checking account!

I hope it's a maintenance on their extortionate fees and bad customer support!

I hope that as well. They really need to pull their $hi* together in that department.

I've never had a problem with Paypal. (And it's been 5 years) I have a debit card through them so I can pull money out of any ATM. I guess if you don't sell garbage and get a ton of refund requests Paypal works fine. If you do sell garbage, then it's Paypal's fault.... extortionate fees? LOL there are payment processors out there charging twice as much. On the customer support end, CALL THEM.

Andy Henry has just posted about having a problem with Paypal because he had a lot of high level payments in to his account. Andy does NOT sell rubbish, nor do I and nor do a lot of other people who've experienced various problems with Paypal.

They act randomly as well all the time.

I think Paypal offer a very useful service, I just wish they wouldn't cause problems for those of us who sometimes have large payments being received.

When you sell a $197.00 rehashed product with a misleading sales page you get what you deserve... Don't blame Paypal for trying to protect it's customers. Customers see Paypal and there is a level of trust since Paypal will refund the money of those merchants who rip them off. Paypal helps HONEST merchants sell more of their products.

Everyone complains about Paypal but many people never pick up the phone to call them and tell them what they are doing.

Get rich quick products don't sit well with Paypal. They WILL see a salespage that looks like a scam. They WILL see someone charging $197.00 for it. And they WILL shut it down.

They protect customers.
