Can You Selling E-Books For A Living???

Hey Warriors,

I have a very important question for you! Is it possible to sell ebooks for a livings? If you are in possession of hundreds of ebooks, and you have 100% of the resale rights, is it possible to make a living on selling those ebooks, over, and over, and over again? What do you think?

Now, to be perfectly clear, there is no possible chance that i am actually considering this! This is just a simple question that struck as odd. At first, i really didn't think that you could generate enough money from this, but then i thought, "If you have a mass quantity, it definitely makes it easier...."

Confused  Why start a thread with a specific question when you have no intention of following through? Bit of a waist of time don't you think?

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

Of course you can sell ebooks for a living, however you need to monetize your ebooks from mulitple avenues. So, don't put all your eggs in one basket. Don't just stick with selling on Kindle and don't just stick with ibooks. Do both, build a list, have your own site.

Then you've got yourself a profitable ebook business.

Ebooks is a pretty generic term, though. You can make a living selling ebooks if you consider that WSOs that are just PDFs have made tens of thousands of dollars. Then they head off to Clickbank to earn even more. Or look at any ebook on Clickbank that's a best seller.

Then you have an ebook that is sold on Kindle. I have 18 there and I make about $1000-1500 per month just from those, not including my other IM efforts.

So it's a pretty generic question, but the generic answer is YES.

I don´t understand why you consider it odd... it is a perfectly established business model. Have you seen the book stores?

When you sell those ebooks, I think you will earn at first but in the long run many people will have a copy of your ebook, some will like it some will not. It is not stable to sell ebooks even if you have a full resale rights..

There are a lot of people who sell the same ebooks/plr material on fiverr over and over. They just dominate a niche and continue to get sales.

If you want to be more serious though you will need to create higher value products. PLR material won't make you big bucks but if you turn the plr material into original content you have a much better chance of making a full-time income

I have been selling ebooks, guides and reports online for the past 8 years and I have made a pretty decent amount of money from them, but my main
money come from the actual ideas I share in my ebooks, etc., so I would say that yes you or anyone who works at it can make a living selling ebooks, guides and reports online.

      All the best,

What I can tell you to a 100% certainty is there are more marketers making a living from selling their own self-created products than there are selling PLR products.

Why would you bother pitching PLRs for less money if you could be marketing high quality products?

Just create a few good books that contain specific information on a topic. Your books don't need to be perfect in any way, just solid and valuable content. If you can create 10 of them a year, marketing them correctly and progressively, you should be set.

Complete contradictions are all throughout here. You are not considering this yet you ask the question. Then you go further and elaborate on your curiosity. Why is this question so important if you have no intent on doing anything if people answer the question? It sounds like you just don't know what to do to make money online.

Am I right in that assumption?

It is possible, but it is probably not easy.

Yeah you can make a living with ebooks. Make sure you operate in a niche though so that you can have lots of backend products to offer to your buyers. Don't create a big, general ebook site. You'll reach and target nobody.

People have been selling information since the dawn of time.

Is there a history lesson to be learned?
