Default Submitting articles - Manually or with Submission software?

Hi all,

I'm just wondering who (out of our successful article marketers) uses submission software/service and who does them manually.

If you're using software, which one are you using and why?

Thanks
Mike

We just had this thread yesterday.

Submitting manually is out of the question, you at least get a program to fill in the fields for you while you're submitting. That is, for people who are scared of automated submissions.

I run an article training service, so this may come as a surprise, but I submit manually.

I do own article submitting software. I find it to be a bit helpful but not enough to use it consistently.

I don't believe there are many article directories worth submitting to anyway. If you submit to the top few, you're all set.

Regards,
Dan

I prefer to pay someone to do the submissions manually if I don't do it myself, but have used the databases found in some of the software submission programs as a 'quick' way to find new directories.

I use Article Marketer. They help in getting you accepted on the main directories and its easier to get plenty backlinks quickly. Also you can rank long tail keywords on multiple site pages more quickly.

I submit mine manually, I have never come across any great submission software. The ones I have used have not been great......and it doesn't take me to long to do it myself.

You don't find it helpful for the program to at least log you in and fill in the fields? Doing that manually is just a waste of time.

I (somewhat) agree. Benefits of submitting to directories that are not in the let's say top 40, are sometimes not worth even automated submissions.

Hi Milan,

No, I don't. When I first started article marketing years ago (I believe 2004 or 2005), I didn't know which directories were good. So I was of course using the software to do exactly what you describe. But many of the directories had differnet fields and required manual log in's anyway.

When I realized 99% of my results were coming from just a few article directories, it was no longer worth it for me to use the software.

I only submit to a few directories now. Not even close to 40. Not even 10.

That's what works for me and saves me a lot of time.

Your mileage may vary.

Regards,
Dan

By the way, Milan.

Just so we're perfectly clear, I had no issue with the software I bought. It did what it was supposed to do.

Also, the training material that came with it was worth the price alone.

Dan
