Default Pointing a site viewer to a PDF file

How would I point someone on my website to a PDF file? Is there a way to make a link to it? I'm not to savvy so keep any info as basic as possible.
Thank you,
donrock

All you have to do is upload the pdf file to your hosting account. For example, lets say your domain name is http://www.0002sss.com the directory where you uploaded your pdf file will now be http://www.0002sss.com/example.pdf now ad the code below to the page of your website where you want the pdf file to appear...

<a href="http://www.0002sss.com/example.pdf"><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 11px" face=tahoma color=#000000>My pdf file</a></font>

Hope that helps,

bt,

After I upload the file and get the new address can I use it in a link to send the person to the pdf file?

After you have uploaded the pdf file and have the new address, just add the code below with your own link to the page of your website where you want the pdf link to appear, then if a visitor to your website clicks the link, they will automatically be able to download your pdf file to their computer.

<a href="http://www.0002sss.com/example.pdf"><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 11px" face=tahoma color=#000000>My pdf file</a></font>

bt,

Thank you very much I appreciate the quick help. Just out of curiosity do you have to put the code in to make it work?

Depends on how you are sending them the link. If you are including the link on a webpage or sending through HTML mail, you'll want to use the HTML code.

If you are just sending it through plain eMail, you can give them the URL and they can copy and paste it into their browser.
