How Do You Measure Success On Warrior Forum

There are many ways to measure the success of what you do online. Use the right measurement and you manage your expectations and motivation level. Being completely in control of your motivation level is crucial because marketing is a marathon not a sprint. You need PERSISTENCE. Here are some measures of success on WF that helps build up your persistence and will power.

1) Measure success by the number of Thanks you get - This measures how valuable people think your posts are. Make it your goal to boost your thanks levels daily. Why? It helps you to become a better communicator since high value posts are clear and concise. It helps you become a better researcher because high value posts contain useful information. It helps you express your compassion, because high value posts build connections and rapport among different people from different backgrounds.

2) Measure success by how many new programs you learn - Let's face it-most of the people that post on this forum do so because they are promoting something. That's the name of the game. This actually helps you because they may have programs and products that can either help you directly or inspire you to come up with your own solutions. You benefit by checking out as many offers and links as possible to get a clear idea of what's out there. You learn about new marketing techniques and tools.

3) Measure success by how much you learn every day - I try to make it a point to download a new PDF from the War Room every other day. This builds up my knowledge base and helps me become aware of marketing trends, opportunities, and how people market their stuff.

4) Measure success by how much you help others - When someone asks a question I know the answer to, I make it a point to answer even if I am the fifth dude on the totem pole. It helps me because the act of HELPING makes me feel good about myself. It also helps me because reading the other questions help fill out and deepen my understanding of an issue. I try to answer with info that hasn't been covered by previous answers. The key here is that I feel good because by helping and participating, I feel CONNECTED. IM can be a lonely experience and it is too easy to think in ZERO SUM terms (for me to increase, you have to decrease). Helping others helps minimize this mindset

5) Measure success by how many leads you get through your sig - This is obvious but I put this last because the more you learn measurements 1 to 4, the easier it will be for 5 to take care of itself.

What measurements do you use to track your success here on WarriorForum and other forums?

By BEING AWARE and BEING IN CONTROL of how we measure our success, we minimize disappointments and frustrations. We feel LESS POWERLESS and more in control.

I would measure success this way. I my target I set myself when joining warrior forum was achieved, then I can say its a success. Nevertheless, thats only partial success, as everyone would find how big this forum is and the things we learn after we join.

  • Anything that you measure can be improved. The most important online business metrics are opt-in rate & conversion rate. Understanding those two are what I consider the most important for any online business.

You've outlined some great ways to measure success on the WF. If you're running a WSO, you can measure conversion rate because you know 1.) the number of times a thread was viewed 2.) the number of sales you made.

Opt-in rate doesn't really apply here because I believe that we're not allowed to send people to a squeeze page from a WSO.

Another success measure here on this forum would be engagement. How many people comment on the threads you start? Keep an average of that number and see what you can do to improve it. Subscribe to all threads you start & reply to all comments you receive. This one thing alone will help you build a good rep here on the forum. If you honestly try to help people, you'll build up all the good stuff talked about above

Excellent point. To build on your point: pay attention to how many views your threads get to see the level of engagement and topic interest.

Honestly, by how little time I am spending here. The less time here, the more time I make money.

Interesting observation. What do you normally do on WF? Did you pick up info that you implement with your other activities?

The reason I wrote this short article is that if you want to PERSIST in IM, you have to manage your expectations properly. The key to doing this, of course, is by being clear as to what your metrics are.
