Diet Niche: Use PR4 for brand or start new brand

I have two sites. One an EMD of my BRAND that I started from scratch about 4 months ago. Another a PR4 I bought about 2 months ago.

The EMD Brand site to date has 15 articles/recipes and only 4 total visitors from google search to date.

The PR4 gets about 5-10 uniques per day with about 10 articles on it that were outsourced and from guest blogging.

I am kind of dear to my EMD brand site, because I favor the title and think it makes a better brand name.

The PR4 site actually has a brandable name as well, but I favor my original site.

I think I have good ideas and future products to sell.

Since google shows no love whatsoever to BRAND site, should I just ditch it now while I can?

Or perhaps my PR4 isn't really even that far ahead and I should just stick it out with my BRAND site?

I've heard the diet niche is tough, but that must be an understatement as I can't even rank for long tail keywords that should be easy.

Doing business decisions based on PageRank is not advisable.

PR changes all the time and actually does not mean that much. PR4 is nice but noting more.

I would use the brand domain. EMD is under a lot of scrutiny from Google right now. Use your firepower to really POLISH your brand PR 4 site. Is that a Dropped domain from GD? There are lots of great dropped domains with PR at GD

I guess I didn't quite word that right.
EMD only matches my actual brand on both sites...The Brand I prefer, I referred to as the EMD.

Google would not consider either site an actual EMD.

You can 301 redirect the PR4 domain to the other domain and pick up some (if not all) of it's page rank and search engine benefits.

    Hi denutza,

My opinion is not to depend your actions on Google because you are out after one new update! If I were you I would choose the one I love because it will inspire me to work harder! Diet niche is really competitive but with the appropriate methos you can get traffic without Google. Just try guest blogging plus blog commenting and you will have enough results to test what works and what doesn't.

For any other questions I will be more than happy to help you.

    Good luck,
    Zouras
