How to monetize my articles

I just discovered that I have this knack for writing blog postings that are getting a lot of traffic. I'm a programmer/SEO pro and I've been writing articles about small business marketing... one of my passions. So, say I write an article about marketing and SEO for pizza restaurants.... I've gotten my articles ranked very highly and I'm getting traffic for these blog posts. I didn't do this on purpose, it just happened. The question is... how can I make some money off this dumb luck??

Any suggestions beyond AdSense? Thanks.

first thing you need to do is start building a list.

Next, find a related product or service that you can offer to the people that join your list.

I made it sound simple for a reason. That is because it is simple. Build a list and offer that list relevant products.

Shannon makes a good point. Go to ClickBank or Commission Junction and look for products that line up with the content and intent of your articles. You could also offer a free report for signing up and later, mail your list information on your affiliate product.

    Much success to you.

Write your own ebook (or any other product) and sell it

Set up a website (squeeze page) to capture email addresses and names of your visitors. Then compile your articles into an e-book and offer it as a free gift to your visitors.

Go to the various affiliate networks such as Clickbank, PayDotCom, Commission Junction and promote relevant products to your list.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I didn't think about building a list from these posts. I'll give it a shot.

The problem with writing your own posts is that you will have to do this every day.

    Sounds like a job huh?

That's because it is. You want passive income. Income that comes in without any work - well, ok, limited work.

Think about things in this manner and you will have better opportunities to make more cash easily.

Building a list is a good idea. You can then spam your list.

Creating a product is a good idea - however you will need to always direct traffic to it.

If you are a great writer of articles then that's a big advantage in this industry. Why don't you try to check out for some affiliates or companies that can give you commissions or possibly pay you in advertising their product through your articles.
