How to promote an Ebook?

Hey I'm in the process of creating a special report and or ebook. However since my computer was infected with conficker I can't put it into pdf. What I plan on doing is just charging people and then sending it through a couuple of email messages. It is a extremely high value info with a hell of a Usp. So what do you guys think? Also what are some of the best ways to promote an ebook?

    Before thinking of promoting, I would find a better delivery method.. If you send it in emails, people will have a hard time saving it. they would have to save several messages and this adds to confusion.

    A solid delivery system, a payment processor, and a reason people need the product are essential

      hmmm....I'm not sure how I could do this right now, what I plan on doing is buying a new laptop when I really start raking in money and I will just install, but on the computer I have now it is pretty a no install or download zone cuz of the conficker.

    I agree you need to fix your pc first, why spending time send emails everytime someone that buy your products. It will takes your time. You need to make it autopilot. You could use some script that can deliver download link with limited download time.

    I like e-junkie but they can't create the pdf for you and I would say that delivering a pdf is pretty much a must. It's easy and it's what people expect. Don't confuse people straight off.

    Have you tried any of the online PDF services? You should be able to upload your file and get the finished pdf mailed back to you.

    As for promoting it, start a blog. Back it up with article marketing if you're short of budget. Then get into related forums.
