How are solo ads verified?

Would like to buy some solo ads from people on this forum. I gather payment is expected in advance. I don't have a problem with that, but what kind of proof is provided that a mailing to a list is actually done, with the numbers agreed upon?

Be well aware that this area definitely attracts low quality, and often you do not get a good return on investment. There will be some lists that have a great following and click through rate, but this will be more the exception than the rule, so due diligence is a must!

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

How would a newcomer know who the "trusted warriors" would be?

Thank you for the replies, very much appreciated. I gather then that one has to get a guarantee of the # of clicks, not just the # of mailings sent out.

Use your own ad tracker (a good one!) and you won't need any proof

Use an ad tracker, or ask the seller to use one (they already do for sure) and require him to send you screenshots.

it's simple, the seller is selling the clicks, even if the seller sends you solo ad to 100,000 people and no click it means he's done nothing. and must pay you back your money.

you and the seller of course will have to track your clicks, so make sure you have a good squeeze and excellent freebie to offer if you really want to get the best opt in rate.
