Are you getting the most out of your content? Many are not!

For me, most content starts as an email broadcast. That broadcast is then put in a follow up series. That follow up series will be for a new list that has not even been built yet.

The content will then be used in several ways. Some of you on my list will notice a few threads come from that content. Some will go to my WF blog .. some to other blogs I maintain.

The content will end up on you tube and sometimes face book. Most everything I write will be categorized and eventually end up in a product to either sell or to use as email bait. I have even recently set up a site that offers my content to those needing guest post and syndicated content for their own list.

I have even toyed with the idea of posting stuff again on EZA .. as a last stop.

What are some ways you reuse your content?

Awesome little mini-course right there for anyone who pays attention on getting the most mileage out of your content.

I would add: podcast, infographic, and distribution of both on relevant networks. Social stuff too (series of Tweets, maybe on Google + or LinkedIn).

The point is one very few marketers heed, though... use the HELL out of your content.

The viral potential of infographics is staggering if you do it right. I'm working on something about that right now... should be out in January.

To add to what's been said by two very wise men, otherwise known as a couple of wise guys ( ) ...

    1. Convert your content into a different medium. Ebook become videos, audio, etc.
    2. Turn it into PDF's for document sharing sites.
    3. Retire paid products and turn them into bonuses, or sell resale rights or PLR to them.

    I got more...

I admit it, I'm a big softie at heart. So here's another one for you...

Turn an ebook into mini-membership. Say you have a 10-chapter ebook that sells for $27. Turn it into a membership that's delivered by autoresponder - you don't even have to build a member site - and deliver one lesson a month. Even if you only charge $5 a month you make $50 instead of $27.

As long as you deliver good content in each lesson you should retain a high number of members...especially if you give them reasons to look forward to the next lesson. It doesn't hurt to have them looking forward to their "graduation gift" either.

I don't mind, Troy. Jimmy D. Brown sparked that idea for me, so it isn't 100% original.

Do you edit any of it when your changing say from your blog to an article directory to give it a unique spin so to speak?

I usually start with a broadcast that is conversational and somewhat telling a story. I then reformat it to a point to go on the WF, WF blog, or my own blogs. After it is turned into blog content .. I seldom ever change it from there.

Turning some/several of the better article into podcasts.

Editing and adding to any giveaway short reports making them into really useful, actionable products.

Taking 6 or so related smaller products and bundling them together to make a larger product, whilst still using the smaller products in their own right.

Turning products into videos or slideshows

Using any expert interview materials, as audio/reports/slideshows etc as linkbait and/or products/bonuses
