How A Warrior Thread Helped Me Get My Money Back ...

You may recall that long thread about the Paypal
freezing accounts a few weeks back. Everyone
was suggesting alternative payment systems and
one poster mentioned 2Checkout. I responded
by saying how 2CO had kept my money after I
closed my account even though they promised to
hold the balance for just 90 days.

Well, a representative of the company contacted me
by email, saying he had read the Warrior post and
wanted to help me resolve my problem.

He did check the account and claimed that there
was a mistake and wired the balance to my account.
When I inquired about reading the Warrior forum, he
said that this was his job--a kind of PR to keep the
company's name clean.

That's why I'm surprised with all the long threads here
about ClickBank that not one representative from the
company came to set the record straight. You often see
other businesses enter debate, especially the AR companies.

So the same way I made a public post about the problem
I had with 2CO, I wanted to also publicly say that I got
my money.

Thanks for posting this Ray! Very fair of you, and in the best spirit of the WF!

2CO just went up SEVERAL notches in my estimation for this.

Clickbank REALLY needs to take a lesson from this and get with the program before someone offers a real alternative and puts them under.

There are PR type people in every company. They are essentially like firefighters... they put out the bigger fires first.

Good on yer Ray - I've always had pleasant experiences with 2CO.

I wonder how much extra business they'd get if they bothered to put the little fires out as well - seems to me that bad press from a "little fire" in a popular forum is a great way to lose "big" business.

Today's little fire could be tomorrow's fire storm...

ClickBank do in fact monitor the forum but make
the deliberate decision not to get involved.

I never really had any problems with 2CO either except
they did a double deduction for a refund I gave and
the representative couldn't agree there was a mistake.

So basically there was a credit for the payment, then
a deduction for the refund (so a zero sum) but for the
next period they still deducted the money even though
I never received it. I'm still out of that $495.

But when I closed my account there was a balance they
held for more than the 90 days they promised. That I
    got back.
