I'm looking for a recommendation... webhosts

I've been with my current webhost for a few years now, and there are a number of things I quite like about them:
- Fairly easy WP installs, up to 75 MySQL databases and unlimited domains - plus like 20GB.

However, their interface seems a little antiquated, and most importantly every now and then I notice a site is down for a few minutes. Also, I can only have 1 user for the admin panel (multiple FTP though).

I don't think I'm going to drop them and move everything, but at the same time I'm looking to expand my options a bit and maybe start some new projects with a different webhost.

Therefore, here's my question of the day:

Which webhost have you found provides the absolute best value?

It must provide:
- One click WP installs
- Large number of MySQL databases
- Unlimited or a decent # domain hosting
- Good number of emails

MOST IMPORTANTLY - Solid reliable uptime....

I'm using BlueHost.com hosting since 2005. And still works without any problem...Unlimited domains, storage and bandwidth..
Live online Customer support is also awesome...give it a try..just 6.95/month when you choose 36 month hosting.

I highly recommend HostGator. While I am only on the shared plan I do bring in a decent volume of traffic and everything has been smooth from the start.

I'll have to 3rd the Bluehost recommendation. Been with them since 2004 because of their superb service and support. A first class operation.

Good catch... but I doubt folks would get THAT technical... but to host unlimiteds websites... with inlimited space... for no extra charge, then I think that's great.

I'll need to dig a little more into their TOS. Thanks

Unlimited MB, sure .... Unlimited Inodes? Nope.

Inodes refer to files stored on hard disk sectors.

Unlimited Bandwidth? ... Sure, but good luck generating lots of bandwidth without overusing your allowed resources.

I use HostGator. I've tried other hosts but I always seemed to end up having problems, some minor, some not-so-minor. With HostGator I've never had an issue. And the customer service has been very good.

I use Kiosk. The support is good and it has lots of affiliate tools to promote with. They have just upgraded all their servers. Watch Joels blog it can be hilarious.

I am not a very tecchy person. I just like to write mini articles at times and do some selling online..i'm looking for a web host that could help me get going, kinda walk me through the process and provide good support without ripping me off...would you still recommend "bluehost" for me? I don't really know much about this.

Hostmonster - which is sister site to bluehost and you may get a cheaper cost - yet all the same benefits.

One step installs on WP and much more.

Unlimited bandwidth, domains, space, 24/7 phone support, etc.....

I hate to say it but looks like you're currently getting really jiped.

      Hi kirsten

I have been using Third Sphere Hosting since I started in 2000. They have a completely integrated setup giving you the usual cpanel but throwing in an entire business management and automation system that includes product management (sales and secure delivery), affiliate program, multi-list management, autoresponders, and more all integrated and easy to manage from an admin area.

I have never in all those years had a problem with my sites or with support. In fact they have gone way beyond the normal for me especially when I was a newbie.

      Hope that helps,
      Vince
