I think that most people will use I-Tunes rather then buying it from you.

Why don't you go on Google and Yahoo and do paid ads there? Then you can add purchase binaural beats as your primary keyword.

Why can't you go on Google? :S

If its a new site (brand new domain) the first thing you should do is submit it to search engines. Google/Bing/Yahoo/Ask etc.

Secondly, how about writing a couple press releases to get the news out there?

Then do some high PR relevant blog commenting.

If I was you though. I'd start trying to see if I can take up those keywords on all the Web 2.0 sites before one of your competitors does. You could be kicking yourself later on for not doing that.

What do you mean exactly?

Well, if the main keywords you are going for are beats by dre you are going to want to take up those keyword domains on the web 2's. Eg;

beatsbydre.blogspot.com
beatsbydre.wordpress.com
beatsbydre.posterous.com
beatsbydre.nextweb2site.com etc etc

And then post a new article to each one at least once a month for sure results.

I would promote it using video marketing on YouTube.

People love video marketing. Make videos of examples and a link with a free teaser to get people in the buying mood.

Half the responses here were "I would buy them on Itunes." He totally asked if you would rather buy them from his site or from Itunes.

As far as answering your question, start by making sure your site is completely optimized with on-page SEO and start off-page SEO.

Start building up relevant backlinks from blogs via comments, web 2.0 sites, related forums, press releases, etc. It's hard work getting a brand new website out there from scratch and it requires a lot of elbow grease, but ignore all the people trying to tell you "I wouldn't buy it from you, I would buy it from Itunes." I never understand why people do that.

Everybody likes good looking well thought out InfoGraphics. to promote i would target a health niche in someway. what do binaural beats do.. and promote on youtube.

I just think they sound cool..
