Getting back into Internet Marketing

I have taken a break from Internet Marketing and started a full time day job but now I am starting to miss Internet Marketing and working from home lol.

I am kinda rusted and need to work my way back in.

I have joined 2 new opportunities and was wondering which route would acquire customers ASAP:


1. Starting my own domain from scratch and writing articles on my blog?

OR

2. Start posting my articles on HIGH PR public blogs?

    For long term, you can do both.
    To get fast result, you need to do a lot of things at the same time.
    Plan your take action plan properly and follow your plan.

    Content is the King, so if you write good quality articles and post in your blog and other high PR blogs, you are likely to get a lot of traffic in your site. When you achieve a good number of traffic, then you should think about monetizing the traffic.

      When posting the article on my blog and posting the same exact version on other public blogs benefit me?? or will the search engines mark it as a duplicate?

    Yes it will be seen as duplicate content. The best option is to create two separate versions, one for your blog and one for article syndication (sending it to different article directories etcs)
