Need Help With Design Idea!

I am making a website that will be launched on New Year's day (tomorrow!!!!) and has one thing that I need to figure out.

I have a header, which you can see in the preview at https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

This header includes 11 different images that I got from Pond5. I want each one of these images to link to something different. The question that has been killing me is; Where to?

I need help with this ASAP and if you have ANY idea about where each image should go, I will be more than willing to consider it.

Thank you everyone for helping me in this time of crisis!

    youngsiteowner,

Unless we have a crystal ball, there is no way we would know where the images should link to

What exactly are you trying to achieve here?

I want this to help my SEO a bit and I think that my users will like it since it is kind of cool to have all of those images link to different things.

My current idea: have each one link to different blog posts about that image. Problem is, I don't have any blog posts since the website hasn't even launched yet.

Hi,You can make the whole design break into smaller cells.
I mean, just find a way to break it into each linkable logo and then try to synergize the logos together.
It's a lofty design idea, no doubt.
If you need further help, you can let me know.
    Hope this helps.

Have every image link to a tip. Image #1, "Tip #1: Limit your showers to only once every 2 weeks". Yes, I'm being serious. Your users will appreciate simple.

Thanks. I did consider this idea at one point.

I think I will do just what you said, except I don't know how to code it. It would be best if you clicked on the image and it just popped up a small little box (like a box that shows up in YouTube videos and just has an "x" in it so you can close it).

Anyone know how to do that?

If you want to do that in Facebook, then it is not possible. You could get that right on a website but you would have to 'cut' the graphic and then each section of the graphic has a different url to link to.

This is for my website. The link to Facebook was to an image of the header I am talking about for my website. I already have the images separated.

As a starting point I would suggest some relevant Wikipedia pages, TED Talks and Youtube videos. And there are lots of good blogs about climate change, green energy and solar power. Should take no more than 5 minutes to get a good list.

Well, you normally link to stuff you want other people to visit and see. We don't have a clue what you have available, but that's the gist of it.

Thanks for the links on image maps. But I already had the images separated. If anyone wants to see what I ended up doing, you can check it out, now that the site is up, on greenenergyguide.org
