Google Chrome Apps & Image Rendering
I am looking to get a rendering tool coded for a website. It is for a room design tool where you can choose the floor covering, wall colours, sofa type and colour and so on. I am getting all of the image colour variables undertaken presently to do this task.
Once I have the images I would also like to utilise these to get a chrome app coded as well so more users can get the benefit from it than would if the tool was restricted to one site.
I need to find a coder to build these tools but I am wondering would both options need to be coded from scratch or as the functionality is virtually identical can it be coded in such a way that the basic code framework could utilised for both functions thus saving time & money?
For example I have seen several tools of this type that have been written in jQuery, is this language equally suitable for web design and a chrome app?
