How are you tracking clicks to Amazon?

Question for Amazon affiliates. How are you tracking clicks, CTR, conversions etc? I looked into Google Analytics and it appears that I have to add extra code to each link and also extra code for each product page. Seems like too much extra work and there should be easier solutions, especially if you're planning on promoting hundreds of products.

Please share how you do it.

    I'm using Google Analytics to track the clicks to Amazon. However, I'm using a modified version of an Amazon Script (this one, to be more specific) to automatically add the Google Analytics code to each outbound affiliate clicks and I have the goals enabled to measure the CTR to Amazon via my affiliate links.

    The advantages? I can see on a daily basis how much traffic I'm sending to Amazon (counting out my own clicks while I work) and what types of traffic methods convert best.

        If you log into your associates account, you'll notice that Amazon allows up to 100 tracking id's to be associated with your main account (after 100, you can mail them and ask for more)

        The way I do it is use different tracking id's for my bestselling products/categories etc.

    I track outbound links via google analytic and some javascript on the clicks.

    eg.

    onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackPageview', ' /ASIN/XXXXXXXXX']);"

    Ever notice that people who spend money on WSO, memberships and courses, are always complaining about being broke and not making any money ?

    They should have bought ASSETS instead.

    Get more traffic to your site and get more click to your link. You can put these banners at the top, Right and one bottom to improve CTR. For Tracking you can make diff. diff. amazon tracking id's for your good products..
