itunes affiliate program question

i am wondering of anyone on this forum uses it and....

1. can you make a decent amount of $$ if you get traffic.
2. Do they allow you the use of any type of sample media (example: 30 second audio preview) without it falling under copyright?

Thank you so much to anyone who can help me out. I have an idea of how i want to use this but wanna make sure its legal first!!

    I didn't even know Itunes had an affiliate program. But my take on it is that most of the money made by Apple through Itunes is from music, and music is only $1 per song. So I don't think you would be able to make too much considering your commission would probably be only 5 to 10 cents per song sold. Not worth the time and money.
