How much are willing to Invest?

Hey warriors,

So I've just been browsing around on the forum today and something came across something I was curious about...

How much investment would you be willing to spend to start a new site.
How would you breakdown your investment
How much do you normally have to keep investing to keep it going (if any)

Ill start:
It normally cost me about $85 per site I build.
$30 for SEO work, $40 for articles, $15 domain name
Typically, i'll spend about $40 per month to keep the site updated with more SEO & articles.

Very interested to hear what some other people say

I seemed to have missed something here I think. Where have you allocated any money for hosting or an autoresponder?

You need traffic and subscribers and to be able to to form a relationship with your list you have to be able to email them using an autoresponder.

SEO has changed from what it used to be. Do you use social media at all?

Great questions, didnt think about the autoresponder so theres another $20 expense. Hosting - I set up a hosting site about 3 years ago and I pay a one time yearly fee for unlimited hosting so I never count this as a "new site" expense. As far as social media yes I do, but I focus on keeping up with the marketing aspect except SEO since it is so tedious.

I generally invest thousands per year in bigger sites and don't generally start a new site with a small investment in mind unless it is built around a plan for a larger project.
