Why Goal Setting Really is IMPORTANT!

If you had asked me what are my goals some years back I would have answered "I have None!", and at the age of 30 that seems pretty pathetic right?

You see I thought to myself when I was younger that if you didn't have any goals, you wouldn't get downhearted when they were not achieved.

Today, I'm glad to say that I DO have goals.

I'm not talking about goals that are probably unreachable like "I want to be a millionaire within the next few years" or " I want to be rich and famous", I'm talking about little goals that are achievable with a little hard work!

Where am I going with all this you might ask?

Ok, by setting small goals you can easily accomplish, sets you up for bigger things. You start off small and then move on to BIG.

I have achieved 3 goals within the past 4 weeks. One was to create my first WSO (accomplished).

The second was to see one of my products inside a members area (accomplished).

The third was to make $200 in one day. (accomplished)

Setting small goals like these makes you HUNGRY for more, and will guide you to better success online OR offline.

So, if you are struggling with things, sit back, take a long deep breath and think of some easily achievable goals you can complete!

Pretty soon you'll be smiling away when you have reached what you set out to do, and want MORE.

First off, well done on finally setting goals and more importantly acheiving them !!

GREAT !

To me running an online business HAS to be about planning and goal setting... It just has to be !

The day when I learned I had to plan was the day I started to finally understand this whole IM stuff and make money with it.

A little spin from how you do things though I like to do things a little different

Rather than set small goals like you say that you know you can acheive before moving on to better goals... I like to set my end goal, for example make $50,000 this year online... Then I like to set the goals of how I will acheive my end goal

for example if I plan to make $50k this year I would then say right ok, I need to make around $960 a week for a year, this means making about $137 a day.. etc ..

Right so now I need to plan how I will make $137 a day online... etc ...

Just my way of doing things, set an end goal and then plan how to reach it

Great post and congrats on your accomplishments thus far.
One thing that I would like to point out is that you said...

This is a key point because when most people set goals,
they like to give themselves a time limit.

Giving yourself a time limit to achieve your goals is a huge
mistake.

Think about it. How many times have you given yourself a time
limited goal, only not to achieve it within that time? Even if you
don't notice it, this can diminish confidence in the long run.

Instead, how about just doing everything you can do and go
as hard as you with RIGHT NOW?

"Living in the now" helps you focus on the task at hand and be
a ton more effective. Then you acknowledge what you
accomplished with this focused precision, if you will.

Please don't get me wrong. Goals are a must. Just
never back them with a time limit.

Just my nickels worth.

Hello!

First of all, we have to set our Goals so that we don't fall. Because in internet marketing world we have many competitors income with internet business. So, setting our goals or plans we must be able to know what we have lost or we have already finished and it is also a guide for us in achieving our Goal.
