Facebook $7 Promoting post - does it tell people that it's promoted?

I'm really sorry to post a question that if I dug deeper i could find an answer somewhere... but for anyone that knows this, is there any indication in the output of promoting posts, that it has been promoted, that it is different from other posts by others?

(what's the statistical significance of promoting, anyway? and is it at all dependent on time - morning, night, etc - that it's promoted and in what ways?)

Yes....the post appears as a sponsored post.

The idea is that your post is seen by more people. It's facebook's way of monetizing its traffic but also a way to increase the reach of your post.

There has been an outcry from some sectors saying that Facebook are pushing people towards promoting posts....but thats another story

    Regards

    Chris
