Need suggestions for a HEALTH site

Hi, seems like you have a good website since it gets so much daily traffic (even though I haven't seen it :p)

First of all, converting to WP could be a good idea so it's easier to work with. I like themes that look clean and don't have any really fancy designs. For that I would suggest Canvas by Woo themes (I tried it, it's very clean, but at that time I didn't want to spend money so I stick with Socrates theme (which is btw very easy to work with and can be cleaned up from extra design features). Anyways, the point it, get a clean theme.

If your site has been punished by Google, use their new Disavow tool. Load all your bad links in it and in about 30 days (I think), Google will clean them up.

With so much traffic going through your website, building a list is a very good idea of course. But besides that make profiles on social media sites. People might not want to join your list but you will have them signed up on social profiles.

If Adsense doesn't make you money, then drop it don't waste your time. Instead go for CPAs and Affiliate products, but don't put too many, choose the best ones only!
The way I think about it, if I go to a website that has bunch of affiliate products on it, I will think that someone is trying to make money off me, but if I see only few products getting advertised I would think that these are tested with time products that have been carefully selected.

As for sign up page you can have it in the sidebar. Besides that you use a wordpress sign up plugin like pippity. This plugin has some very useful settings, the best one is the ability to control when the pop up pops up. Putting a pop up in people's face when they enter is not a good idea (I would hate it :p)

When you have a list make sure not to hit them with too much affiliate links and promotional stuff, once per week is enough. That way people will know that you are not throwing random crap at them but promote carefully chosen products.

Besides that keep putting up useful articles, ranking each page for different keywords. They should rank easy because it seems like you have an authority site. To show that to Google make sure to create a G+ account if you haven't yet and put all your social profiles, other niche related profiles and your website into "about" section. That way Google will see you as an authority in your niche.

Do health article reviews of high ranking blogs. Notify them of your review. Watch the traffic and juice roll in. There's a way to do this right though but you need to learn through trial and error because the specific approach depends on niche.
