I've thought about that. But since the number of visitors are fairly small I don't want to make them annoyed so they won't visit the site again - in addition to that I do not know what incentive I could offer them as the "topic" is not that brilliant for that purpose IMO.

  Mostly from US/UK.
  
  Because of the Adsense I'm unwilling to share the URL - I've had problems with Google regarding that, so cannot risk it again, sorry.

Statistically speaking, it takes just as many visitors to get an adsense click as it does to make an affiliate commission. I would get rid of the adsense ads (takes people away from your site), promote more affiliate products, build a list (acts as a second stream of income for your blog), and just focus on getting more traffic -- requires that you put out more content and so on.

Apart from Amazon I've found it very difficult to find a right Affiliate for that page, hence my post here in the hope that someone would suggest the right affiliate name to me!

You need more traffic. With this traffic you cannot make money.

You need to add an opt-in form and add them to your A/R. Then send them emails about a solution to the acid reflux problem.

Long tail keywords - I would have definitely done this if the main keyword was more friendly - the main keyword is a herb (plant) and in total you could have 8 decent keywords related to it in order to write any meaningful content and I don't want to waffle for the sake of making my site bigger.

An opt-in form is probably a safe option which I should definitely try.

You need more traffic: Still I should be able to make some money with 900 UV's per month.

I can get you some banner ads: Can you tell me on what topic please?

A good lesson: The lesson that I've learnt from doing this site is that never attempt to build a site on some keywords which have very limited searches or related sub keywords -- I did this because when I first started as a domainer I bought an EMD with a .biz TLD and to prove my SEO skills, I thought I would develop this site in order to beat the .com version of it in ranking which incidentally belonged to a vey famous domainer and after a few weeks I managed to do just that - consequently I proved 2 points:
1- You can get to the page one of Google by doing old fashioned SEO.
2- You can beat a .com TLD by another inferior extention like .biz something that some domainers think not possible!!

Well, If you are using WP I suggest you to install WP-Insert to place the adsense or amazon ads in the right place. You can also try CPA and your own products.

It's not actually a WP site. I've designed my own site using HTML/CSS but I can try the ads' locations anywhere I like -

The reason that people don't click the ads is because they've come to that page to get cured using the herbal remedy the content of the page is suggesting to them - when they can pay a few pennies buying the herb why should they pay more for what the ads may be offering them?!

Research affiliate programs which related to Acid Reflux/GERD niche. Such as CJ.com, ShareASale.com, LinkShare.com, and more. For other affiliate programs, you can googling it.
