Building a list from only solo adds

If there would be no other source but just buying solo adds would it be possible to build a good quality list in the IM niche?

Sure this has been asked before but I mean right now, because it seems the quality of solo's has gone down a LOT...

If your content is great and the whole funnel is setup well, what about it?

    It is more than possible

I did a case study last year and built 1012 new subscribers with just solo ads and tested around 18 - 20 solo ads

Yeah your funnel is important, you need to have a good oto and possibly an upsell too to really crank out max profits

And then also a good email follow up series too

I made back around 70% of my ad investment just from oto's and upsells

Solo ads do work well but i would recommend building up your free traffic and at the same time
buy the odd solo ad to increase the size of your list faster

This is what i do :-)

If you provide more valuable content to your list, i am sure they will likely to buy from you more often than your competitors...it also depend on how strong your relationship with your list too...

Don't forget that a lot of people use the same lists to build their business. I mean, solo ads do work but this is not the only way to build your list.

You should and could use pay per click ads, you can find websites with high traffic and pay for an ad on their home page, you can write articles, you can post videos on YouTube, you can use forum marketing.....

You should always think outside the box and never put all your list building "eggs" into one basket.

It doesn't make much sense to claim solo ads are beginning to exhaust.

It's entirely dependant upon the status of individual lists.

Some solo-ads are rubbish, but they generally go out of circulation pretty quickly. You can definitely build an entire list off of just solos, and in certain niches, it's probably your best bet.

There is a service called CPC broker that focuses on Empower Network, but I personally worked with the owner and we worked out a highly effective splash page and advertising strategy for no additional cost and I got about a 40% opt in rate. Prices are reasonable and the subscribers have been very loyal.

Optimize your monetization funnel and you can afford to purchase solo traffic and virtually any other traffic and profit from it while also building your list.

Most people don't maximize their LTV nearly as much and spend too much time on the traffic end of their email marketing

Yeah, you can build a list using only solo ads. The trick
is to keep your ad copy short. You want to list the benefits
of your offer right off the bat to peak interest. If the copy
is too long, viewers will click away to the next solo ad.
Next, advertise to the list frequently, using the free ads
along with your solo. This way you target both sides.
